frustrating…

Just when you thought your life was getting adventurous and wet, your phone starts topak, off and never again starts on no matter how hard you push the button. You have no way of contacting your company on that hot Sunday white water rafting. You are stuck at your frustrations and even asks a taxi driver to lend you his phone so that you can contact the others. The taxi driver apparently has a better working phone than yours and so you tell yourself that you have better yet been a taxi driver. Maybe your life had been less frustrating. Now, when you arrive at the predestination, the others had already left for the bondocks, the rafting point of origin. Apparently, you couldn’t follow them because if you ask the taxi driver to ride to that dirk, it will cost you millions plus extra on the tire that might break loose. You are mad and want to throw your phone away. You want to see it crash on the rocks above you while passing matina aplaya. You come home in frustration and make coffee while crying only to learn that someone starts ranting at your ear because you miss to cover the sugar container for half an hour. The ants on your apartment have already started to crawl on the sugar that spilled near your arms and they grow in number as many as the shitty lines in your head. Sayang! That white water rafting was free because you were invited to write about it along with other media people. But no, because of that good for nothing phone, you missed every free chance of getting that experience and that story. and you thought, a couple of years ago, when phones were still non existent, you might have had a better chance of getting to that rafting.

now i super understand your frustration. i would really feel the same thing if i was the one who got left behind because of a stupid phone.

we were really thinking how you were feeling the whole time we were rafting. as in! sige na mig “si pearly ba…” “sapot na to si pearly jud…” “pearly!!!” and to top it off we had to leave our cellphones at the locker.

basta we’ll raft again in the future with you. magipon sa ta kay for sure this time it won’t be free. hope they have another of those free trips. meanwhile, let’s go tubing asap. it’s cheaper and riskier!
